I don't know if this was posted before or not since I haven't searched this thread, but the easiest fix for the compatibility issue between GM and TMP is to change line 449 in contentLinks.js from:

Code:
  if ("GM_BrowserUI" in window && GM_getEnabled()) {

to:

Code:
  if ("GM_BrowserUI" in window && Application.prefs.getValue("greasemonkey.enabled", false)) {

Does that apply to my modified TMP version available in this post?

Assuming Morac's edit is for the TMO dev version that I did for enabling TMP to work in versions with tab animation, here is a modified version:

tab_mix_plus-dev-build-110906a.xpi

Note: I set the compatibility range to only from Aurora 8.* to Nightly 9.*.

Greasemonkey users, please let me know if it works for you. I am currently using Scriptish.

Works for me, Ray - today GM nightly + TMP from the link above, all good (Fx7a2), thanks a lot!

Morac, thanks!

And, to clarify, the greasemonkey/TMP issues are with recent greasemonkey nightlies and not (yet) the current official release of greasemonkey?

All I know is that I was using GM official release when the conflict with TMP was first reported here. I did not have any problems in my installs, but did opt to try Scriptish instead based on someone's recommendation--or at least comment that they used it instead of GM.

Hi.
In Firefox 6.0.2 was updated recently.
Fails to work the middle mouse button to open links in the background.
This happens with TMP 0.3.8.6pre.110429a.
When could fix this bug?
Thank you.

I have been using the official TMP release with Fx 6 without any issues. I would recommend you go with it instead of the dev version.

If you have GM installed, read my post above.

I first noticed the problem today (middle click wasn't working) when GM auto-updated itself to 0.9.10. Basically GM removed the function that TMP was using to check if GM was enabled and moved it into a module. The work around I posted simply replicates the functionality that the GM function was providing (all it does is check the "enabled" preference set by GM).

It looks like despite the GM author stating he wouldn't fix this, he restored the function in 0.9.11 so either installing GM 0.9.11 or using my work around will accomplish the same thing. Currently 0.9.11 is not currently auto-updating so you need to install that manually.

When was the stable version of Firefox 6.0.1 TMP worked properly.
But when installing the new stable version of Firefox 6.0.2. The middle mouse button stopped working to open links in the background.

Firefox 6.0.2 Stable install:

Please, read above on this same page. If you have GM installed, install the latest .9.11 version - link in my post above.

I switched to Scriptish when folks first reported having trouble with both TMP and GM enabled.

Scriptish is good extension.
Thanks for the recommendation.
